More amusing mishaps

We're in Nassau today, but I'm not getting off the ship, so I have time to sit by the pool and reminisce ... (and it's Cliff's birthday! Happy Birthday, Cliffie!)
I forgot to mention that, a few days ago, Sandy tripped into an elevator while carrying a tray of coffee, spilling coffee all over the elevator but fortunately not hurting herself. A day after *that*, she slipped on some water (which, um, *Cliff* had apparently spilled) while carrying a tray in the cafeteria, and fell onto her knees, hurting them. A couple of crew members ran up to her and insisted on bringing her to the medical center, where it was determined that she was again unhurt.
And today, Cliff and Greta took a "Fit Ball" class. This does not, as you may be assuming, have anything to do with improving the muscle tone of the male reproductive organs, but instead involves using giant inflatable rubber balls as exercise aids. Anyway, Cliff was attempting to execute a complex maneuver with one of them, during which he was lying on his back on top of it, trying to do some backbendy kind of thing. And he fell off. No harm done, and a good laugh was had by all.
Conclusion: scooters are dangerous. Carrying trays is dangerous. "Fit Balls" are dangerous. Drinking is dangerous, as is trying to use a walker as a wheelchair, and combining the two is especially dangerous. And, as was pointed out yesterday, *anything* can be dangerous if you don't do it carefully enough. Therefore, the only safe course of action is to lie quietly in bed with one's feet elevated, typing blog entries.

A comedy of errors, one after another. How many days do you have left to go before you are back in the safety of New York?

Yes, Jimma, please tell us that you will stay in bed with your foot propped up, making extremely funny entries in this blog, until the boat docks in the Hudson River!
Danny thinks you should try that thing again with the walker, but maybe Mimi could also be on a skateboard -- you'll go faster that way.
