Jim Update 1/28/06
We just took Jim to the doctor again to see if he could get his temporary cast on and there was an elderly gentleman there who said he has been having chest pains upon exertion for the past three weeks, so they thought he was the priority. Jim says he considered saying, "Hey! I have chest pains too!" but thought better of it. This poor guy had a cane without the rubber piece on the bottom, which had been lost in Belize City today. I can only imagine that his wife finally forced him to go to the doctor. Here's Jim sitting on our balcony wearing his temporary cast. I hope he gets to get one of those cool neon orange casts soon!

Speaking of boys in casts...Danny broke his arm today, skateboarding! It was pretty traumatic for me, and he was mighty scared when it happened -- we were at a skate park, and he fell in a bowl and used his hand to break his fall -- but he's okay.
Fortunately it's his left arm, so he can still write and use a TV remote.
