Embarkation

When the ship left Pier 92, we went to a “hidden” hot tub at the front of the ship in hopes that we would be able to enjoy from it the view of the city and the Statue of Liberty in warmth and solitude. Unfortunately it was a somewhat warm day, so lots of people with big butts stood in front of us, blocking our view as we sat in the hot tub. Definitely a different view than we were expecting. When they weren’t standing with their backs to us, they were staring, laughing, gawking, and looking at us in terror because we were in bathing suits in 30-something degree weather with crazy winds. It was a blast! When we got out of the tub, we wrapped towels around ourselves, grabbed all of our stuff and ran inside past shocked bystanders.

maybe it's just me, but that black-clad figure silhouetted against the white radar whatzis really creeps me out. if he starts to show up in the background of every picture that i take, i'm going to stay in the cabin with the door locked.

I think it would've been cool if you would have exited the hot tub completely naked, and then just stood by them at the railing admiring the view.

Jim, re the black-clad guy was always standing behind you, if you remember; he is the one who makes those wierd observations that no one, including you, can believe came out of your mouth.
